Living The Word is a must read. Mrs. Hester-Williams discusses issues that each of us deal with on a daily basis and she uses the Word of God as her reference. Living The Word is down-to-earth that will have readers evaluating their actions and making positive change.

I was blessed enough to get a chance to read this before publication. I saw a lot that reminded me of myself, and it definitley helped me get my priorities as a Christian in order. This book is not for the Christian who wants to have their cake and eat it too. If you're not serious about getting closer to God, then don't read this book. If you are, then you're in for a treat.

This is wonderful book, well written and attention keeper to young and older readers with a desire to have a intimate relationship with GOD. It is also scripture referenced which lets you know this is what God thinks about each individual subject. I can definitely say as I was reading I felt like the author was having a personnal conversation with me. This is the perfect book for all ages if your mission is to please God.

I think this book was written with execellence! It was very uplifting and full of life from the very first page. I think it is a book purpose by God and very safe to read, because basically everything that was said was supported with the living word of God!

Great Book
A reviewer, reads daily to her child, 11/07/2007

This is a great book! It is well written, and keeps the attention of a young child. I am a young mother that believes that reading, colors and pictures increases the growth development of a child. My daughter enjoyed this book, the colors were radiant and the pictures were eye catching. As I read this book to my little girl she pointed with excitement and amazement. This book also had a good message to deliver to our children today.

I really enjoyed this book. It gives a valuable message that young girls need to hear today. The book displays Princess Amina as a young woman of character, wisdom and that is worthy of a man of honor and good character. Although I wish that the book had more to the ending, I look forward to any additional stories written about Princess Amina of Zaria.

Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to read Princess Amina. I read the book twice, so I could give a rationalized opinion.
First off I want to applaud the artwork in this book. Because although it's professional it's not so far fetched from a child eyes of actually being comprehensible-that they can do artwork this well, too. I really love the artwork!
The storyline was well developed, I enjoyed that they acknowledged how special the princess was and how much she was wanted. Also that they showed that she was independent and how she did not want to just marry someone because they brought her gifts and things of such.
I agree with the previous statements that the ending was a little rushed. Although, I don't think a young child will be to pre-occupied with that!-LOL
I would suggest for the second edition just going all out and fleshing the ending out a little more. But overall, I love the book and I could see little African American girls all over wanting to be Princess Amina.

Very detailed writing, it was a little slow in the beginning for me, however as I read on I was able to stay tuned for more. I could identify with Kellie in my past issues with self-esteem, so her issue would be awesome to see how she strengthens or weakens through the mess she is about to face with her husband and Ms Teal... Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading the rest of your novel.
